Committees

When a single person with special skills and knowledge joins together as a team, that team can get more done in less time. Get involved with a committee that meets your special talents.

Public Relations

Coordinates community and the Board activities, including, but not limited to the Annual Golf Tournament,
Installation Banquet, etc.

Political Affairs / Legislative

The Legislative committee keeps members current on vital legislative activities. Monitors legislators and reports to Board. Helps set up interviews with candidates and candidate forums to keep the members informed.

Membership

Coordinates orientations of new members. Promotion of membership on a continuing basis. Coordinates
classes of membership (REALTOR, Affiliate, dual membership). Reports to Board of Directors.

RPAC

The Oregon REALTORS Political Action Committee. RPAC is the fund raising arm of the State Association.
Funds legislative campaigns and candidates, who support the right of private property ownership.

Education / Equal Opportunity

This Committee is responsible for answering the educational needs of the membership. We are very proud of
the contributions this particular committee has made to our membership. This committee coordinates seminars, contacts out of area speakers, conducts mini seminars and approves continuing education credits.

Affiliate Committee

Recruit new Affiliate members. Keep current Affiliate members informed of current events of the membership. Make sure new Affiliates are added to all advertising.

Nomination Committee

Works on the getting the next year's Board of Directors lined up for the August ballot, and helps EO with the election process.

OR/NAR

Usually the state director or someone on a state committee or Board that can keep the membership informed of things happening at OAR and NAR.

RMLS Advisory

Take suggestions and comments to RMLS Liaison, member of RMLS. Attend monthly meetings.
